Thirsty Sasquatch started with a simple idea — bring back the pizza-slices-and-pinball kind of night, where nostalgia, whimsy, and community all show up at the same table. Our owner, Brandon Rush, trained in San Francisco under 13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani and holds certification from Italy's International School of Pizza — and from day one, we set out to make the best pizza we possibly could, right here at home. We set up shop at 2110 Main Street in Uptown Village, fired up the oven, filled a wall with taps, and rolled in the pinball machines. Every day, we get to watch strangers become regulars, regulars become friends, and a simple night out turn into a tradition.

Our pizzas start with long-fermented, artisan dough — the slow kind, the kind that actually develops flavor instead of rushing to the oven. Stretched into 22-inch pies and loaded with toppings, every pizza that leaves our kitchen is built to be shared, fought over, and remembered. This isn't fast food. It's pizza made the way pizza deserves to be made, sized for a crowd that showed up hungry.

Thirsty Sasquatch was built to be a gathering place — birthday parties, pinball tournaments, after-work drinks, and family dinners that run long. We were honored to be voted Best Taproom 2025 by The Columbian, but the real reward is seeing the same faces walk through the door week after week. This neighborhood shows up for us, and we do our best to return the favor.
